 The MAXIMA softball league is pleased to invite you to its annual tournament. A proud new member of the North American Gay Amateur Athletic Association (NAGAAA), our league is set to host a top-notch event up to NAGAAA’s high standards. So come discover (or rediscover) Montreal in all its summer glory, with its myriad festivals, hip restaurants, vibrant nightlife and lively gay scene that make it one of the world’s top gay destinations.

Montreal welcomes over a million gay and lesbian tourists each year. Extending over 15 city blocks, its Village includes a wide range of bars, cafes, patios, bath houses, discos with top DJs, sex clubs, erotic dancers, hip restaurants, as well as a major hotel. In other words, there’s something for everybody!

Maxima will be hosting its 11th annual tournament on the best fields the city has to offer: Parc Lafontaine, Parc Laurier and Centre Claude Robillard. All of these parks are just a few minutes from the Gay Village.

CENTRE CLAUDE ROBILLARD

The Claude Robillard Sports Complex was built for the 1976 Olympics. With an on-site restaurant and concerts, it offers a great atmosphere for ballplayers. This complex was also used for the first World Outgames in 2006.

Tournament fees for a team of up to 14 players are US$450 (payable by international money order only) if you register by May 16, 2008. After this date, the cost will go up to US$475 per team.
